Growing up in the vibrant culture of New York City has influenced director David Barron’s style from layered, lo-fi, quick-cut, downtown street to minimal, elegant, clean, fluid motion. His work generates dynamic environments and stories through visual rhythm, color, and texture to engage emotion and to drive compelling content.

He established himself working alongside Francesco Carrozzini, Franca Sozzani, Max Vadukul and Nicoletta Santoro. Working now primarily in film, he also continues to direct and shoot photographic projects.

Clients include Chanel, Oribe, Luxottica, Kering Foundation, Charriol, and Ceremonia. His ongoing interest in sustainability has led him to work with clients committed specifically to this vision such as Earth Shot Prize and Slow Factory. His editorial work has appeared in Italian Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, L’Official and L’Uomo Vogue.
